( in the faint darkness that surrounded him, he could eventually hear his name through a fuzzy haze that seemed to envelop him. how much time had passed, what day it was and what year were far from him. in the darkness of that room after the first initial day of the game, he lost count of how much time had truly passed. all that he had were the memories of his light right up until this point, the regrets he had, and how he wanted to live. that was what jigsaw told him after all, prove you have the will to live or die in that room. he proved it and yet....he was still left to rot there.
as he felt someone grab him, he looked pale and limp, a more slimmer version of the man maria had seen before. it was clear something terrible had happened to him and while he was in terrible physical condition, he could feel the warmth of her body and tears start to bring life to him again. he wasn't even sure if he was alive, and in the background as the two were on the ground, neighbors began to rush out to bring towels and other essentials, an unusual kind of help for the type of people who lived here. perhaps they saw them as one of their own— two people down on their luck, kicked by life again. whatever the reason was, help was on the way and it wouldn't be very long now.

by the time adam finally came to, he had been lying on a soft hospital bed, his mind a blurred haze as he was surrounded by machines and tubes, all connected to him. the bright florescent lights above shined down on him and his mouth felt dry, painfully so but he was also very numb. whatever pain he felt before was gone for now, and he was being tended to.
it was only when he heard his name again that he turned his head to the side to see a familiar blonde and pink blur near him. he held out his hand gently, reaching out towards maria before he finally spoke. )
